No option to make car Beep when Locking

I was looking at this section of the owners manual and noticed that my car (2011 328xi no i-drive) doesn't have the option to make the car beep when locking..

Is the "acoustic signal" something different than the horn?

Just say beep and click the button simultaneously every time.

I believe you need to have the OEM Alarm to enable this option.

yea it's a different from horn sound, op do you have factory alarm? After installing my alarm is when I had the option for this acoustic signal sound.

Could it be an i-drive function? Or premium package function?

My car beeps twice on unlock, and once on lock. And the lights flash (once per beep). It's been like that since I got the car

How can you miss the sound of the door lock actuators? They are plenty loud!

But as has already been said, no alarm = no beep.
