Rear Strut brace e90
if anyone is interested in doing this i will gladly post photos of the proccess, and answer any questions. it is an inexpensive DIY. and if you feel the same wat about keeping the back end of your bmw from sliding out and dont want to spend hundreds on sway bars, this is a great way to do so. to give anyone an idea of the difference i comftorably have added on about 30-40 mph on bends and conrners that i was sliding out on and now the car is glued to the pavement.
Tools needed: 1. sawsal 2. drill 3. ratchets 5/8ths 4. 1"x1" steel tube length 3'10" 5. 1" flat steel bracket that will fit inside the steel tubing snug, and secured with a perfect fitting machine screw and bolt. 6. in the trunk slots will need to be cut in the lining where the struts are located. every measurement and hole drilled needs to fit perfectly flush to all mounting points. i will post pictures of the finished product later on today. it isnt complete yet havent had the time to finish up the looks and im thinking of adding some more things to attatc it to other points on the car for less body roll.. after all it is in the trunk it looks clean aside from the holes but cover them with gray fabric like wats in the car and its clean. no one even sees it in the trunk but when im flying around a bend with ease they will know its there.

on what? OP already posted pictures and a list of materials needed, what other updates are you looking for? Not to mention this is a 2-yr old thread.

I still don't know why a company had not made this part yet.. the easiest design for the quickest money they won't make.
