I thought you might like that particular thread!

Fenders we rolled Tuesday night, Carbon Fiber license plate frame came in on Wednesday, allignment done today (1.1 deg. Camber front, 2.2 rear), wheels should be in my hands in the next week or so, changing the brake fluid this weekend, tranny fluid in a week or so whenever I get around to ordering everything.

...now for walnut blasting & some handling mods (thanks a lot, Jack )& I think the spring mod/maintenance-fest may be at substantial completion for this guy. I hope to be posting pics soon (as I hope to be getting my wheels back soon. Fingers crossed!)

Good stuff FR!

What's the consensus on tranny fluid? I've been told that you can leave it alone altogether but if you plan to change it, do it when the mileage is not too high.

That's the consensus. I'd change every 40-50.

For sure FR. I have Michelin Alpin PA3s for the winter which aren't bad but they are still RFs which makes for a harsher ride.

Wow what a crazy difference after putting on the MPSS summer tires. I won't miss those winter run-flats one bit.

Where are you planning to get the m-sport front from? I'm interested in making the conversion too.

Just erased all of the music in my hdd. Replaced with 12gb of new stuff! This will shave at least .40 off my 1320.

Cool. Now we do need that photo shoot. I may be putting on the black kidney grilles on today if I can figure out how to remove the old without breaking them. Such a klutz these days.

Nice! The trick is to remove the screws holding the top of the bumper. Once those are off it is a cakewalk. I'm happy to help as required. Ive also been dying to try to buff out the scratches on your front driver side cowl ever since our last meet

I took a couple pics this morning of the various spring mods; i think I'm going to place them in the general photo thread.

Well I suddenly got my plans changed. Instead of cosmetic upgrades, I ordered another turbo for my D.
The one I got now is about to give up, and since I have to have another, I went for a hybrid that should be able to give me aprox 350HP with the right remap. Right now I got aprox 307HP in my tuned 330dA :-)
Actually looking forward to get it fitted :-)

Grilles are on. I didn't break anything. Underside Scratches may be too far gone, bit worth a try. I need some OJT on buffing anyway.
