Just bought a 2010 335i
2010 335i, 40K miles with Sport and Premium packages, heated seats, Bluetooth and Steptronic. I previously had an 06 Z4M, but got rid of it to get another Corvette (2003 convertible). The 335i will be my fiances daily driver, but will be our joint car for whenever we're both going somewhere so I can keep the miles off the Vette. It's an awesome car, and with the Sport package, it feels very close to what I would expect from an M car (while still having decent gas mileage). The very first thing I'm going to have to do is get a good radar detector for it!

That was one of the selling points. I didn't want black exterior, and the dark interior makes the car look like your in a tomb. Finding this one with dark blue exterior and the oyster interior was pretty much perfect, plus I got it for clean trade in value. Now I just have to get the extended warranty and maybe the maintenance (got emails out to several dealerships to find the best price).

I would pile the miles on the vette as opposed to the BMW. Check out what low mile vettes go for compared to a low mile 335i............nuf said i think. Not downing the vette but its a GM product and they tend to not hold value very well unless its a speciality model.

Already looking at the PPK, looks like a good add-on, especially with not wanting to have to worry about the warranty. I'm not trying to really keep miles off the Vette for value, but more because it's loud and rough compared to the BMW, so unless it's a convertible day or we're going to a Vette event, I'd rather drive the 335. The other part is that the Vette is low miles (03 with 20K miles), so it would help keep the value up and help out when I want to get a new one in a year or two. I don't really believe in not driving any car, even something that's rare. Life's too short to not enjoy them.

Definitely get a Valentine1. I've tried them all and continue to stick with the V1. I keep up with RD/LD technology and even though most reviewers knock the V1 (mostly because they dislike Mike Valentine), at the end of the day its your best insurance policy. It just does everything right! |
