I emailed Turner Motorsport asking them can they do that. This is what they said:

At this time we don't have the software for what you are asking for finished. We are working on it , but it might not be ready for a while.
I don't have an estimate - unfortunately It's a very
complicated to get it working.

For that matter....find a wrecked 335i and swing in the whole pack (incl. DME) into your car!

easier than swapping manifolds and having your car tuned.

Edit:
Oh...you would need to change out the exhaust manifold/header as well.

didn't turner motorsport already start advertising this kit and don't they already have a car with all of this on it, so what software do they still have to do?

Exactly what I was thinking.... if they have software for just the high flow exhaust manifolds, and for the high flow exhaust manifolds + the 3-stage intake, I am sure that they have something for just the intake manifold.

The question is, are they gonna say 'no' to you so that they can push you into paying 3500 - 4000 to them to upgrade?

i dont think their software being tuned for exhaust and cai will make much of a difference if any to someone who doesnt have that stuff, but what im wondering (and this may be unethical but im desperate) is if someone gets the software is there some way to copy it to see how they did it and then replicate it?

doubtful... I am pretty sure that any company would dodge this for the ethical concerns and I doubt that there are any individuals here that have the resources to get the computer required to reflash the ECU.

I am sure Turner can reflash someone with just the intake manifold... again, the question is will they want to unless you buy the intake from them?

n52 info

wow...i bet you work for bmw...how else can you get that information? what's the take on these high tech exhaust systems? are they worth the the dollar bill? dollar per hp...does it actually decrease back pressure? thus increased noise and possibly freeing up some lost hp's.
when is dinan going to step it up?

I can't imagine that this thread would die... you'd think that 325i owners would push hard for the chance to add 40 hp to their cars for 2000 bucks or less.

thats what i thought but i guess without the help from tuners or any glimmer of hope thats what will eventually happen. hopefully we can keep it alive to a certain extent and eventually something will happen, i never thought i would say this but i think we will have forced induction before we have this mod, both would be nice though

well finevette has already done this but nobody seems to believe it because he had some AWD dyno problems.

I am firmly in belief that finevette's car is now effectively a 330xi Touring converted from 325xi tourning.

When money is available for this, I am going to be attempting to convert my Canadian 174hp 323i to a Euro-spec 325i. For me it should just be software though because I already have the three-stage intake manifold.

It's so sad a week's gone by without anything from this stickied thread...

Come on Creative, we've got money for you!

Is our only option right now to pay an exorbitant $4000 for Turner's stage three upgrade? bleh...

Anybody from SoCal who wants to buy the manifold and software, I"m certain we can muster enough help to do the install.
