Hi,

a relative has a E34 525 tds which is now sitting around as he is unfit to drive anymore. hes had it since brand new and done only a few K miles a year in it

Engine is perfect. underneath is pretty much rust free and it got serviced every year up until 2014

body has a few marks but other than that its cleaner than some cars today I see which are newer.

its a manual gearbox and looks like a nice classic

dont know what to list it up for he just wants whatever he can get from it?

anyone know what its worth? haven't seen one for sale across the boards.

Beautiful car the E34. My uneducated guess would be £5000 as its 1 owner, well looked after but realistically for a sale today i can't see it go for more than £2.5K

I'd have to say £2.5k max. Not much of a market for cars like this anymore. Being super pessamistic, I'd have said £1500 max.

I feel that there is quite a market tbh as people want stuff that's going to make them money a few years down the line

It's going to be all about the condition and service history really. Not a super desirable car, but if there is no rust and it's mechanically spot on, then being an E34 it should be virtually bomb proof.

Not a very desirable engine, depends on spec, condition etc, but I reckon about £1000-£1500.
