JB4, Catless DP's, 91 oct, 4000ft elevation, which map?

So I just installed catless downpipes over the weekend. I am running them with my JB4. I live in El Paso TX which is at 4000ft elevation and only has 91 octane fuel. So my question is, which map should I run? I was told that Map 5 (autotune) doesnt work good at my elevation, and Map 2 says it is for 93 octane. Should I stick to map 1? Any suggections? Thanks

Start with map1, log and see how your car likes it then go from there

Map 5 is not good when you constantly drive in different elevations, if your car never sees below 3K feet, you should be good on Map 5

I would get 5 gallons of 100 octane and 11 gallons 91 and put it on map 2

I don't have access to 100 octane around here. Especially on a daily basis.

So far the car feels good on map 1. I just ordered the USB cable so I can run some logs and make sure my jb4 is updated

Map 5 will auto adjust. You may want to reset it if you come down the mountain or change fuel blends.

I would do a datalog on map1 and map5, but let map5 adjust for a few days before logging. Send me the logs and we can see what works best for you.

Make sure to flash the latest firmware on your JB4 as well.
