I can see how that could sore up your ribs. So its worth the $30 for a race? And how long IS a race?!

The races last 10 minutes, usually 7 or 8 laps. They have lap time printouts for you inside after each session. They routinely have discounts on their Facebook page, so go check that out to get the $30 price down. The more races you buy, the cheaper they get and there is a "bank" tied to your profile so you can save any unused race credits for later.

I'm pretty lucky that the body shop takes care of me because I do a lot of diagnostic work for them. I don't know what it would normally cost. Sorry I can't be more help.

The only time I've been when it was deserted was a Wednesday night, there are generally other people to drive against if you go during the more "normal" times. You can also call ahead and ask if there are any big groups there - I normally do just to make sure I don't drive 45 minutes to find out that some group has the place rented out.

Looks like you may have already got your hands on the tool, but as reference I go to Auto Zone. They have that tool lending thing. You pay the full price for the tool and can bring it back whenever. Just be sure you tell them you need the lending tool. Don't take one of the shelf, try to use it, and return it. They don't like that.

Man, that tool is seeing more mileage than a street walker on Harry Hines. It's only like 23.00 online. I got my from eas (if I remember correctly). If you're on the west side and need one, I will let you borrow mine.
