Gents & Ladies, found Rand Wheel Alignment Turntables everywhere on the Net; nowhere brick 'n' mortar.

Hmmmmm. Much lower $ than competitors - guessing Chinese. Like the price; don't like the shipping charge.

Yo! Anyone work with 'em?

Thinkin' about Red Green; a solution presented itself!

Dirt cheap....

DIY in a month maybe - all will be revealed. But, still interested in Rand Turntable.

Disclaimer: No duct tape of any kind was harmed in my procedure.

damn, you really hate those alignment shops huh? I've followed your DIY in the past but i think alignment would be way too much for me. good luck!

Just recently had a bad alignment....not every vendor's knowledgeable. Motivation created.

Now then. 5 vehicles - enjoy DIY - bit of a perfectionist...doing this very satisfying.

Scored a laser level this evening, accurate to 1/8" @ 100'

Hoping I don't have to buy an expensive, deadly accurate green laser. Object of my small effort's to do precision alignment w/very little investment.

Next step: Check scrap metal yards for raw material t'weld.

Fun. Scavenger hunt.

You don't need turntables. Just go to HomeDepot and get 8 smooth vinyl flooring tiles (two per wheel) set one on the floor, then put some table salt on the tile, and put the second tile on top. Roll the car onto your DIY turntables.

Been there, but couldn't make adjustments while on the tiles....w/o 4W lift.

I've tried this trick thanks to a Calwaterboy youtube suggestion on one of my threads. Using strings, I could confirm misalignment, but I couldn't accurately make adjustments. Tended to overshoot the adjustment (according to pro measurement afterwards), compared to what measurements showed me.

Calwaterboy hope you get some economical suggestions here.

The technique works but takes way too much effort. Looking to improve result & shorten the process.

Seeing some daylight here....needs refinement & development. Being a spare time project, gonna be a few weeks.

If I could find damaged pallet racks, could make alignment platforms for next t'nothin'! Maybe scrap metal yards....a weekend adventure.

Have had ideas about photoreceptors & construction lasers for some time - this puppy's been brewing quite awhile.
