It got shut down. People in the local communities start complaining to the cops about people racing and loud exhaust in the middle of the night. The FUKU meets are now at FIAT @ the Valley Auto Mall. Same time as the old one.

i hope the meet isnt held where they have the Fiat cars on the lot, or one of those profesional drifters might do some damage lol

Gotcha. I think its great that we are going to do our own meets now without anyone else ruining it for all of us. This in and out on sahara is where we used to meet years ago.

If you have the time and tools you can most definitely fix and replace most stuff yourself.
Ah, good deal. Are there some particular tools BMWs call for, I feel like when people say that if you have the tools, they are reffering to some particular/specialized tools required for BMWs and not just a regular old ratchet set.

e46 or e90, I hope there's deals like this still floating in a few months when I fly out there..

http://lasvegas.craigslist.org/cto/3664113848.html

White e90s Main thing for me, whatever color I may end up with, is a tan/cream interior. Had one in my is250 and loved it. Esp. with how hot vegas gets, black leather can't be fun.

I fly home to New orleans for some leave at the end of May, I'm going to take that time out BS some dealerships into letting me test drive an e90 before I fly out since I've only driven an e46 before. After I test drive, I can truly narrow down which I'd want and make some contacts before I get there.

I got another question for you guys, kinda random and not car related at all. Anyone have kids in any kind of daycare? Whether it's military cdc on base or just civilian daycare off base....I'm trying to find out the roundabout avg cost of daycares out there?

Most of the stuff can be done with a good set of Torx bits, Metric ratchet set, Torque wrench, Metric wrench set. Although having all kinds of different tools will help in some occasions.

Also some maintenance require special tools, like as i just found out, the clutch fan on automatic e46s is a size 32mm bold and autoparts stores rent out a clutch fan kit with the smallest wrench size being a 36mm. Its nearly impossible to find a size 32mm wrench with a slim profile. I was able to find a 1 1/4th wrench at Lowes for $35+tax that worked. I wrapped it with tape and a microfiber towel so i can wack it to break the seal on that bolt. After i was done with the job i unwrapped it and returned it looking brand spacking new

This. A few other good tools to have that is engine specific is a oil filter removal tool, spark plug removal tool, and brake bleeder since most universal ones doesn't fit . If you have a 335i, a o2 sensor tool would be good for uninstalling/installing factory down pipes on dealer visit to uphold the warranty.

If anyone is looking for a DCI, here's a link for two. I paid a little bit $400 for mine brand new, but these guys are selling them for $220 (good deal). You could talk them down to $180-$200 if they don't have the air scoops
