I'm surprised about the JB2H being leaner than the procede though.
With my previous tests with the JB2, it was richer than the procede.
Does the H make it more lean?
The JB2H makes the car slightly richer if anything, but the offroad downpipes might alter the readings. It looks to be .25pt richer below 3500rpm, .25 leaner from 3500-5200, .50 leaner from 5200-6000, and about the same to redline.

Nothing's for sure. I test things out and then post my honest opinions about the product. I've had the JB2 in the past. It's a great product for the money. I'm interested in what the H will do.

Nice results!!

A quick question for you Terry, have you seen any limp modes in any applications with the H yet? Stock car 91 Octane, drop in filter secondary cat and res delete 91 Octane, Catted DP's stock exhaust 91 Octane, etc?

In other words have you found a setup that is definitely not able to run the "pill" or are you just being conservative and not recommending it for 91 octane unless someone has aftermarket DP's?

Of the 5 beta testers out there so far not a single code, but I have 15 more pills going out today to an expanded sample size. Rather come down on the conservative side, I won't want the reputation of being a code thrower.

I think you'll like it! A little more kick than the JB2, but still silky smooth and trouble free.

Hey TERRY, I know this has been discussed before. But looking at the graph it shows that the JB2 makes just as much low end tq as the 1.47. I thought the reason 1.47 was so popular was its massive tq down low...? Or is it below 2500 rpm.

This is with the following, not just JB2. The downpipes help quite a bit.....

If there was really a big difference, the downpipe won't make that much difference.

Terry's car had the "H" pill added to the JB2 as well as Catless DP's

The interesting thing was, Terry just installed the "H" pill last night.
He drove over to the dyno this morning after driving to work.
In his first two runs (with about 2-3 minutes cool down between the runs) he made:
332 rwhp
358 rwtq

Then suddenly he does the 3rd run and it jumps to about 345 rwhp / 373 rwtq.
We were like WTF??

So he lets it cool again for 3-4 minutes and do a 4th run.
It got the 347 rwhp / 374 rwtq.
On this run I monitored his boost gauge to see if anything was weird.
It was basically between 11-12 psi for most of the time, but hit 12.5 psi for a bit somewhere in the midrange of the run.
It was only there for a split second and dropped back down into the 11-12 psi range for another second or so, then began dropping as it got closer to redline.

We both kinda figured that maybe his ECU/JB2 didn't adapt to his "H" pill that adds about .5 or so psi extra boost yet in the first two runs.
That extra .5 or so extra boost would account for the sudden +13 rwhp and +15 rwtq.

I would suspect that if we were both on 93 Octane and he didn't have his catless DP's (so we would of had basically the exact same mods except me on v1.47 and him on JB2H (with hot pill) we would of made very similiar power above 4000 rpms (around 338-340 rwhp), but the v1.47 PROcede probably would of still made 10-12+ rwtq more below 4000 rpms

Oh yes they do.
Charlie (CEA3) tested the Riss Racing DP's and showed about a 27 rwhp gain and even more torque.
Terry has the UR DP's.
Don't know how much they make alone, but he suspects +15 rwhp and torque, and I agree.
The DP's surely help get the car on boost faster and add power, even in the low rpms, but most notably in the upper rpm range.

When you add in the DP low end boost takes off on the JB2.

I agree with that. Above say 4500 I think the JB2H and procede 1.47 boost curves are very similar.

Damn, Terry! Nice numbers! I think I am going to go to the dyno once I get the pill and dyno the JB2H, VIP Tuning CAI, and cat-back exhaust.

Terry, are you going to get RR dps? if you did, keep all else the same and then you could see how much you make (go back to the dyno).. that would be a great way to compare the 2 products.

Terry, with the secondary cats still there, do you think the car will pass or fail emissions given the catless DPs?
