BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
2007 BMW 335i – E92 – 6 speed – Sport, Premium, Cold Weather , Logic 7 – LOADED AND FLAWLESS:

I have listed for sale the best kept, most immaculate, unmolested MONTEGO BLUE METALLIC E92 coupe for sale in the Northeast and perhaps in the country. This car has NEVER been mechanically modified (NO TUNES, intakes, exhausts, intercoolers… NONE OF THAT), adult-driven, weekend/good weather car. The only reason I am selling this cas is because I am looking to accumlate additional funding for my business. The car title in in my name, free of any loans/liens.

FULLY LOADED except Navigation:

Options include:

Premium - (Xenons, heated seats, Black leather)
Sport - (Sport suspension, sport seats, Aluminum trim, Sport wheels)
Cold weather - (Headlight washer jets, heated seats, Rear Seat Ski Pass through)
Sirius Satellite Radio w/ 6 months paid subscription

This car has been sold and serviced by Habberstad BMW in Huntington NY since day 1. I have every single service record on this car including the window sticker AND BMW’s internal service records and options list. I am the second owner and purchased directly from Habberstad as the carfax shows.

As pictured, the car has a COMPLETE M-SPORT OEM AERODYNAMIC kit including front bumper, rear bumper, diffuser and rocker panels. (This package alone painted and installed cost $3500)

In November 2010 (Right before expiration of the 4 year/50,000 mile warranty, I purchased BMW’s PLATINUM 100,000 mile <Bumper to Bumper> warranty ($3100) which covers everything except suspension and wear and tear parts. This OEM BMW warranty is fully transferrable. Even the tires are warrantied and include comprehensive Road Hazard Coverage (Tirerack) .

NOW FOR THE BEST PART:

Under the coverage of this extended PLATINUM warranty, BMW replaced the entire motor, 6-speed transmission and flywheel. Before rolling your eyes and ignoring this post, read the following explanation and understand that I have verifiable service records for each of these service visits as well as the contact information of my service advisor:

I first brought my car into BMW (Habberstad BMW, Huntington, NY) in early December complaining of a noise between shifts similar to a wastegate/actuator issue.

STEP 1: BMW replaced the wastegate actuators, performed the emissions recall and returned the car back to me. This DID NOT solve the problem.

STEP 2: Brought the car right back and filed a similar complaint. This next service visit involved the following:

1. Swapped out exhaust from donor vehicle and perform inspection: Problem remained

2. Reinstalled original exhaust system and swapped out transmission for BRAND NEW 6 – speed transmission: Problem STILL Remained

3. KEPT new transmission in vehicle and replaced flywheel: Problem still remained

4. Drain engine oil to inspect fluids: FOUND EXTREMELY FINE METAL DEPOSITS IN OIL

5. Replaced motor with BRAND NEW BMW motor and kept BRAND NEW transmission and flywheel in the car as well.

The diagnoses that BMW gave was that the throwout bearing failed resulting in transmission damage and essentially initiated the engine’s self-destruction.

After one month of my driving a 2011 328Xi Loaner, my car was returned with over $15,000 in new BMW parts.

Once again, I would like to stress, this was all done under warranty at one of BMW NA’s top dealerships. I have receipts for all of these transactions.
NEW MOTOR CURRENTLY HAS: 2,500 miles (TWO THOUSAND and TWO HUNDRED) AND A PROPER BREAK-IN OIL CHANGE WAS DONE AT 1200 MILES.

Please understand, this car LITERALLY HAS 2,500 miles on the motor, transmission and flywheel and 45k miles overall. Also, there is NO SUCH THING as a montego blue metallic m-sport. This car is truly a unique machine with an increasingly difficult to find 6-speed MANUAL.

Other than that headache, the car has never given me any problems except for the HPFP which was replaced with BMW’s redesigned, new part number fuel pump. This car is also equipped with the factory OIL COOLER.

Interior shows new and has literally NO WEAR except extremely minor wear on the driver’s side seat but shows zero bolster wear and the passenger and rear seats LITERALLY SHOW NO USE.

Also, since this is a first year model (2007) the interior has the mesh cargo holders behind the front seats, unique to the 2007 only.

Just last week car received an unparalleled detail from a LOCAL GURU for $450. Detail included full 5 step paint cleansing and protection, full leather treatment including cleaning, conditioning and waxing and interior steaming and shampooing.

Floor mats were also replaced with brand NEW OEM Floormats.

I am willing to entertain reasonable offers. Also, I believe the used portion of my recently purchased warranty is refundable on a pro-rata basis so if you would like to opt out of the warranty, I would credit you my refunded amount accordingly. I am sure most people on this forum would stronly advise you to keep the warranty. Feel free to email me at Shahzad134@gmail.com to discuss this further.

UNUSED portion* - 19/24 months is still remaining. I believe that would translate to roughly $2000. I have to review my Warranty Contract but I do believe they offer this type of refund.

Thank you sir. I am still finding ways to justify keeping the car but it seems like my expanding business is forcing my hand.

Trust me, it's worth buying the manual. BMWs automatics are known for problems on the newer models.

Personally, I was forced to learn a few years back when I came across an immaculate E46 330i and I am so glad I did. I've driven over 50k miles on a manual since and I still LOVE IT MORE everyday.

Thanks Natelam. I have some interest locally but I believe the buyer is having trouble obtaining financing.

::: Hint ::: The potential buyer and I had reached a deal of $27,000 with the warranty remaining intact for the new buyer ::: Hint :::

At that price, I'm literally giving this baby away.,
