Lost power to the Idrive controller

Im not sure where this post should go but I lost power to my idrive controller. I'm not sure if anyone else has had this happen. Any tips would be appreciated.
I was told that is has a constant power source and that it should have power when my lights are on, but I'm not getting any power to it at all. I just had the Alpine B3 transmission programing done to the car if that helps with anything. I dont think that could cause it to lose power and I haven't done anything else to the car. It is a 2011 335i Xdrive coupe.

Thanks

Aren't you still under warranty?

I am but I don't know why it would go out all the sudden and it was just in the shop for the VANOS bolt failure. I just did the transmission reprogramming and wanted to make sure it couldn't have affected it at all. Also is electrical covered under warranty?

This type of repair should be covered under your original manufacturers warranty. However I don't think a CPO covers iDrive.

Try pulling your center trim up and see if the wire is connected all the way. It will take you a total of 2 minutes to check. Just pry it up carefully.

Does anyone know what fuse it is? I'm wondering if that is what it could be because it has no power.

Mine did the same thing after the B3 update! Everything I tried wouldn't bring it back. It was replaced under warranty.

Mine was replaced under warranty as well, same issue but it happened out of the blue without any apparent cause.

They just said it failed and replaced it under warranty. They wouldn't give me anymore information but my B3 transmission tune is still on the car.
