Newbie Question, 3stage intake manifold swap.

This is about the 330 conversion on a 325.

Ok, iv'e red about every topic on it.

There s a few things i am still comfused about....

Do i need a brand new 330 Ecu or can i just reprogram the one i have already? Once i get the new ecu / reprogram, can i get a tune for it ?
Can i do both of these step at once? Just tune my ecu as a tuned 330 software?

Once i swap the parts in my garage, i have to run down to my performance shop or the dealership to get my ecu programmed and then everything's fine?

If i have to get a new Ecu, anyone has the part number ?

Any help is appreciated !
Thanks

you flash your own computer with the 3-stage software. Active Autowerk has a tune for the 3-stage manifold. You'd need to go to their nearest rep (check their website), or send your computer to them.

The 330 and 325 ecus actually have identical part numbers. The software from AA works really well with a large increase in torque and mid range and a good increase in top end HP. However, someone here named allmotor discovered that there are still some missing files that need to be modified to get the full benefit of the 330's increased valve lift. I haven't contacted AA about this but I'm sure they'd be more than willing to look into it. This ECU is quite complicated but it's extreamly powerful. As is, the AA tune is still VERY good though. Smooth power delivery, good throttle response, very refined.

Hey e90pilot, was wondering, where did you get your AA tune at?
