e92 M3 winter rims?

At the risk of absorbing abuse for not being able to figure out this question myself, will the winter package I used on my '04 e46 M3 fit on my new '08? I have a winter package of replica M5 rims with Hankook Ice Bears with the following specs: 17x8, bolt pattern 5x120, offset 38. 225 50R17 98Vs.

Input appreciated. Thanks all!

(With luck I will back to check this post later with an intact car....just had the 2,000 km service done yesterday so I about to find out what happens at 5,500 RPM+)

I have the same rim and was planning to use it for my new e90 335i too...I different rubber on but slapped them on 2 weeks ago and it does look that the rim will clear the calipers....the one in the front is very tight but it clears...i purchased mine at tiretrends.com and when i called them they told me with the right rubber it will fit....i plan to go wit h 225/45/17's though...

Isn't the M3 brakes larger than 335i brakes. If so, I'm pretty sure you have to go with 18" winters.
