Exhaust rattle - starter motor
First post, here goes - We have a 2010 320d Coupe - Efficient Dynamics. Six months ago when it had it's first service i asked the dealer to check the exhaust as it sounded loud, gruff - around passenger side front, particularly on chaging gear.
They checked and found bracket was loose, tightened it and it's been fine until now.I brought it back again today with the same fault - only to be told that it's not the exhaust but the starter motor, which they're ordering in a replacement.
Not sure the starter motor should be making noises while being driven. Anyone come across this or similar? Thanks
