I want to but I dont want too..

Touch my car! - I mean I want to mod, at least a little.. make it individual, but I also like the look of it as a standard M Sport 330D

If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear from you.. Also tunning, Im still not 100% sure on this.. again anyone done it after x amount of miles and still happy.

The way I make my cars individual is simply change the wheels. Think I have done this to every car I have owned over the last 20 years. And yeah a remap for more power.

My last car I had a complete retrim in bright red leather. Got the whole red leather thing out of my system. So glad this one is black!!

Black grilles do depend upon the colour of the car ... In my opinion

Gloss black kidneys, M3 aero lip spoiler, perhaps some new alloys. Darkline rear lights if E90..

Don't need to do anything else to make the car really stand out.

I really wanted to do some small mods (performance grills, lips spoiler etc) but the additional insurance put me off.

After my renewal this year (which I have already lubed up for) I might give it another try and see what they say.

I agree. At the end of the day it's your car, your choice, but I definitely think less is more.

Likewise. Next time I renew the 5 years' declaration of a non-fault accident will have passed, and (fingers crossed) assuming nothing happens between now and then, I'll see what the damage is likely to be.

I got it detailed, well a deep body polish which made a dramatic difference, I am tempted to change the wheels, problem is I also like the MV3's..lol

I have a small lip spoiler on the boot which was on when I bought the car.. guess im answering my own questions.. Leave the car as it is.. outside a remap

Yep - still happy

Re-mapped by Simon at Emaps at 48k miles and my previous E46 330d at over 50k. No issues whatsoever!

You can see my power results by checking recent 'Surrey Rolling Road' thread.
