I'm going to put the factory custom shaft back on it and sell it. It hits well, very straight compared to my R7 460. However, the R7 460 just feels more solid on impact, sounds better, and I hit it longer (although I tend to hit more hooks with it). Honestly I think I can score better with the Sumo SQuared due to straighter drives... but I always feel like I need/want to bomb my drives as long as possible, and I feel like the Sumo is limiting my distance.

But then again, I never really measured the drives... I like the trajectory of the ball off of the R7 460 (looks like a line drive without ballooning, and falls soft in the end...looks more powerful)... whereas the ball flight is very boring from the Nike (smooth parabolic arc)... if I actually measure the distance, maybe there isn't much difference... it just doesn't feel very satisfying to hit it...

Oh well, maybe I'll give it another chance through a few more rounds...

the reason they hit it so far is they have like a 63" shaft instead of the standard 56 or 58 lol, but its also because my launch angle is 4 degrees too high. Ive been trying to fix it for months and am getting closer but still not down to what it should be.

man, golf is a pita to learn...
i'm trying to learn the PROPER way, instead of blasting the ball away... trying to keep my right elbow tucked into my side the whole time, etc etc... it's a real pain, but i know that if i learn the right way initially (although it'll take much longer to learn), i'll end up shaving a few months later trying to correct all my flaws.

nonetheless, my grip right now is wayy to hard (stupid yes), and i got blisters lol

Grip it as if it were a baby bird. You will be amazed. Less tension, freer swing. More club head speed.

it sure is a pita. i just started learning about a month ago. i started out pretty good, then as i got more tips from instructors and other people, i got worse. got a major slice now and sometimes can't even hit it in the air. so frustrating some days.

I started about 2 years ago with an instructor and have been working ever since. My big thing now is putting and getting myhead out of the game but I have everything else down.

ditto...
i started fairly well, and as i got more tips, i often top the ball, or slice right (sometimes, real hard)... it sucks that my clubhead lifts... i gotta work on that -- but i think it's mostly due to my incorrect grip.

Im out west now I hit my Callaway 19 degree hybrid 298 off of a tee today, it was ridiculous. My longest drive out here in Colorado is 375 yards, it was a one time deal but I average around 325, so its not so bad.
