Track monorail lighting

Anyone have some tips on track lighting?

I'm looking at product from Nulux, IntenseLighting etcetera.
Tips on installation (I'll be having an electrician install) what goes above the ceiling, mounting, 2-circuit, H-J-L Track ?
Difference between Track and Monorail?
Ceiling need to be painted before installation begins ?

Any info appreciated.

Just did a monorail which had a central mounting point a short time ago.

I'd recommend going with LED and definitely painting the ceiling before. The installation was pretty simple and straightforward. It only took 45 mins and I HATE electricity.

The change of lighting in the space was remarkable and I am in the process of replacing more fixtures with LEDs.

You will love the light.

I was concerned about the possible spot-light look but the light is strong where pointed and diffuses nicely without the sharp demarkations I feared.
