Big brake kit! Wow!!
I've noticed that I as well may want one some day if I keep moding my bimmer..
I easily get to 150k+ when I go WOT and at those speeds the stock brakes just don't stop quick enough..

I just hope I still have the car end of month. I'm taking it to the dealer in July to replace the brakes. It says they have 5,000k left.. 1 month ago it said they had 11000K!.!.!.. I guess they are wearing out faster then expected.

Hmmmm....well I live near westhills but im guessing your gunna be comin up Sarcee.....so doesn't really make sense for me to meet you guys at chinook lol.....who knows....might see you on the way to crowfoot cuz I'll be takin Sarcee to 16th then Stoney too....so if a black 335 coupe joins the convoy on the way it'll be me haha

Edit: other options are I'll give you my cell n txt me when ur rolling up Sarcee n I'll leave my house n just join you on the road......unless u wanna change the "where" to westhills instead of chinook? Either way works for me!

I don't want to keep changing the meet point, it'd be much easier to be a central location and just off glenmore. What we could is phone you as we're leaving and you should be able to intercept our convoy.

Don't want people to get mixed up either, so whoever is south and coming to the chinook convoy let me know.

They are just the BMW Performance set which is stock on the E82 135i, but 6 piston Brembos will be 6 piston Brembos don't know if my rear 2 pistons will make it by the 26th but the upgrade I'm most excited for is LCI AE's finally!!!

Should have my 19s or 20s on by that date.

My Bilstein B16 coilovers are backordered from TMS, we'll see what LTBMW can do for me

I heard about this cruise from E90MCF. I should be in! If this is anything like the beyond.ca event last week, it's going to be an awesome time.

Hey All --

I've been out of town all weekend, so sorry about delays in responses and texts -- I'll catch up this week

I was actually out in the Canmore/Banff area, so did a little more scouting about -- Lake Minnewanka has a large parking lot, which was mostly empty, as does Two Jack Lake and a couple of other places in the area.

Also it has come up, so I'll ask the question -- would people prefer a more 'secured' and organized venue (which could involve having to pay), or are you happy to take the chance that we will find a place with enough room for everybody.

I like the idea of the latter -- it's more informal. I believe there will be a more formal, organized event later in the summer, in addition to this one.

As bigup hinted about a formal event after this cruise, the date is tentative so until then it's TBA.

Lake Minnewanka has no traffic lights so unless we have a designated/reserved parking area to accommodate our needs this would work best rather than 1/3 of the convoy getting through each light.

Can't wait for June 26th!

Since Minnewanka is literally 2 minutes from Banff, I say we do a cruise down Banff Avenue, turn around, then head to the parking lot in Minnewanka -- I will produce a route map in case the group get's separated.
