my 320d M Sport...

Ive been on here for a while and have done a few subtle mods so now seemed a good time to put up some pics, please forgive the quality, taken with iphone. note - the kerbed alloys will be sorted soon and ultimately replaced by 19s

mods so far : Hartge exhaust, Quaife LSD, Chipped Uk Remap, Pipercross panel filter, Bury iPhone Handsfree kit, LCI OEM headlights with LED sidelight bulbs, M3 lip spoiler

Looks really great!

I know this has been done to death, but can you tell me a bit about the LED bulbs, where you got them from and the price if you don't mind? Cheers

cheers for comments its a shame the iphone pics didnt retain the quality after they were re-sized, they were much clearer originally, must be the std microsoft software im using

Im happy with the lci light upgrade. Led bulbs came from ebay shop - link below. They work on halogen or xenon oem headlights. It was easy for me as I fitted them before i put the new lci lights on the car, im dont think its a job you could do while they're fitted to the car. At the same time I also fitted the M3 silver bulbs and some Ring upgrade H7 bulbs which are excellent.

alternatively I think Mstyle in Essex can supply and fit the led bulbs for about £88

im off to think about wheels again, one of the BMW 19s or possibly Hartge 2s ?????

Thanks for all the info on Mstyle. It'd be the Halos I'd be interesting in upgrading to LED. Good to know that there is somewhere that will supply and fit them in the south east - I may think about giving them a visit.

Can you see the halos in bright sunlight?

Looks good, what you now need is these spacers for the rear wheels to fill the arches better

I fitted them when the lights were off the car, then got a friendly garage to remove the bumper and swap the old units out and fit the new ones, the re-fit the bumper, simple plug and play

There were absolutely no error codes or special coding required - nice and simple. the first time you switch them on they flicker for a few seconds as the system tests them and then completely normal since, they just come on and off as you would want them to

Thanks remmib, yes big improvement with the quaife, pulls away from standstill alot quicker (no dsc kicking in) and grips corners much better than before,

I love the balance of power/grip/weight of the car now and all whilst getting an average of 51mpg

I used this guide when installing the led bulbs : -

Another couple of questions about the halos if you don't mind...

When the dipped beam is on, can you still see the halo? Also, are they as bright as an Audi LED running light for example?

Cheers

they are not as bright as the audi daytime running lights (thankfully! imo) they are as they appear in the first pic, although they are obviously alot brighter at night. 'll try and sort out some nite pics but I dont know if the camera will be up to the job!

my camera is not the best but these pics give you an idea

sidelights at dusk

sidelights at night (they are actually brighter than they appear here, blame the camera!)

dipped beam at night

Thanks for that!

I like that you can still see the inner rings when the dipped beam is on... at the moment my halos virtually vanish at night.
