If you were in my shoes, what would you do?
First some background information... I am in the military, currently stationed in Virginia and at the end of January I will be going to Rhode Island for training for 14 weeks (Feb through mid-May). After I finish that training I will be moving to Hawaii for the next 2 years.
That being said I need snow capable tires for RI while I'm there. Should I get: 1) 225/40R18 Blizzak WS60 for $620 2) 235/40R18 ExtremeContact DWS for $576 3) Staggered ExtremeContact DWS for $680 Basically if i get winter's I'll have to switch as soon as I get to Hawaii whereas I could 'ride out' the Continentals for a while while I put money into an apartment and whatnot. Just looking for other's opinions. Thanks

Get the non staggered DWS, if your running them on stock rims the minor .5" difference in rim size wont effect you and will be cheaper on the wallet. Once you get to HI you will want some summer tires anyway.
