New Wheels :-)
I put my name down as interested in the alloy wheel group buy from BM autosport for BBS LM reps, but wasnt to sure the et40/45 offset would be aggressive enough on my e92.
Had a drive out to Projex Design (formaly SWT) Clevedon Mr Bristol today. Had the exact wheels in stock I wanted, staggered LM reps 8.5 x 19 front and 9.5 x 19 rear, both et40. Wanted to try before I bought. Wheels look fantastic. Fills out the arches with the wider 235 / 265 tyres a little more than the standard 225M's The guys were very helpfull, and gave me a fantastic deal.. I'm very pleased. They have all the usual replica CSL, BBS LMR etc as well as the higher end genuine stuff.... RECOMMENDED. |

I personally don't like LM on e9x, they look great for reps tho.
I dunno what it is about them, they look like a really old style on a new car. The same as an m6 rim design on an e46 doesnt look right but the reverse of that. They do look more agressive, which is good. |

Thanks for the comments guys. Seems to be marmite wheels, luv em or hate em!!
Think it's the retro look that appeals to me. You start liking all things retro when you get into your 40's. I find my self looking at now classic Sierra Cosworth and XJS on eBay I owned in the 90's .lol. |

I think that you are right about " marmite wheels" really not my cup of tea as look to me out of place on that car. They look old and fussy. But it is your car and if you like them then fair play to you. It would be boring if we all had the same tastes.

Another '+1' here, I'm afraid - I'm quite fickle about alloys, and they're just not doing it for me.
But, it's your car, your wheels. Glad you're happy |

The wheels look ace, I am a big fan of LM reps and on the right car they can look spot on - against a black car they really look good.
I also ran some LM reps on my M3 but opted for the dark grey spokes, not because they are any easier to clean (they are bitches to clean!!!) but didn't show the brake dust as easily. Make sure you get some decent rim sealant on them, the polished lips will start to 'pitt' quite quickly else. I use Poorboys stuff and find it very good. Pic below of my M3 on the LM rep rims..... |
