HPFP issue in Hong Kong

I am interested in buying 335, now may target at a 2006 one. Some ques about HPFP

- suppose I buy it and later develop HPFP problem, will BMW change it for free? (I guess 2006 should be those that need recall before?)

- suppose it is changed before, is there a BMWHK warranty for that HPFP?

thanks!!

Sorry to be blunt, you should try BMWHK if they can tell you whether they will charge you on parts and/or service. There is always point to argue since this is an known issue, but it is still they to determine how and what they charge.

In general, there will be warranty for replacement parts after installation.

If this HPFP issue really worries you, you should consider something else then.

My experience is no they won't do it for free.

I suggest you to get a post-2008 335i if budget is allowed, otherwise 330i would not be worse than a 335i (especially if you are not planning for performance mods).
