FX-R projector and Orion v4 angel eyes Retrofit

So I decided to do something about it.

Managed to get Orion V4s, canbus pro ballasts, Osram d2s 66240s, FX-r projectors for a great price to do a retrofit next week.

I am planning to post a DIY, but i'm not sure how helpful it would be and how many people would actually use it.

I have one question for you guys that have installed HIDs with a wiring harness.
So there's a positive wired that's supposed to connect to the battery, how am I supposed to do that? I know the battery is in the back, so I opened the hood and popped open that + connector thing. It's shaped rather strange and I don't know how I'll be able to connect an "O" connecter to it. I have a picture:

Basically it's wire #1 that needs to go to the positive terminal. I don't know how I'm going to place it on that oddly shaped connection.

You would tap that wire into the ECU box by the battery post.

Depending on how detailed the actual modification to the housing part is, I'd probably use the DIY very heavily.

I looked around some more; turns out there's a water cap or something I had to remove.

Alright, good to know that it would actually help someone. This involves cutting the headlight lens with an oscillating tool.

I'd be interested in seeing the diy! Does that setup throw off any error codes?

What type of car was this on and were the headlights lci or pre-lci?

WOW! Nicely done! Can't wait to see the finished product! How much did you end up spending in parts? Just curious how much going the DIY route saved you versus going OEM. Quality looks better than DEPO from that pic.

Edit: I'd be interested in the DIY as well. I have Pre LCI halogens, but I'd love to have something to go off of, if I can justify the cost of going this route.

No error codes at all. Probably due to my canbus ballast

I got an extreme hookup. PM me for details, not sure if you can do as well as me on the price haha. I probably saved 400 dollars going this route instead of DEPOs and 1200 instead of oem xenons.

I don't know if I'm going to be posting a DIY, this project really kicked my ass and I didn't have time to take many pictures.

Progress today: hooked everything up, runs like a charm. Got to seal up the headlight now.

I didn't really take pictures of everything though. The most I could do is provide a crappy general tutorial with no pictures

I used epoxy. Quite the bitch to line up the other rings haha.

All sealed up, ready for the car in about 18 hours!! I fucked up the high beam housing so I went all black for it. I think it looked nicer and less out of place haha.

What it looked like before:
