Just got my new JL XD600/6

Got a great deal for a new JL XD600/6 at Car Stereo Warehouse (located in Anahiem) and ready to install, however, i'm having hard communications with Mr."Technic" in regards to ordering the appropriate cables. (Hope he can reply to my PM's)

Can't wait to install the JL amp and move forward in upgrading the OEM HiFi speakers.

It will fit in the stock amp location.

I was hoping to get the wire harness by Friday or a Saturday project, but we will see. Florida to LA is pretty long. I wonder if Technic does expedite fees. I'd pay extra to have it delivered by Friday.

For a budget of under $1000. I don't think there are decent speakers to replace all 10? I would piece it out throughout a 6 months period. heh

How much did you pay from that shop in Anaheim for the amp? I need to buy one of these as well; Anaheim would be a reachable distance for me.

Are you going to have a period where you have the amp installed but are running the stock speakers? I wondered if I could do that, even for a relatively short period, without causing damage to the speakers in the rear I'd be keeping.

BTW.. I finally got the wire harness from Technic and very much please with his quick customer service and making it happen for me to do my audio project today! Will post pics of my project
