On the subject of re-maps, had mine done on the S3 yesterday, and its just pnenominal now, pulls strong and linear all the way to the red line - feels faster than my old BMW, but a lot of that could be down to how the performance is delivered - it comes alive at 2500-3000rpm, so is quite laggy compared. It is putting out approx 305BHP (which isnt bad considering the car weighs under 1500kgs), and coming off roundabouts the traction light flashes, even with 4wd!!
OilH,

Did you get it done an Oentinger in the end??

Yes and very, very pleased with it - As I said earlier a comletely different power to the 335, a lot more laggy, but once the turbo is spooling, it absolutely flys. I does just prove what an awesome engine the 335D is, as its comletely lagless, compared to anything else Ive driven, but saying that I am so pleasedwith the S3, and get far more enjoyment driving it than the BMW, as its a bit more involved - I just wish they did a DSG version with paddles, it would work really well with the Audi 2.0TFSI engine
