Remember..... MAKE SURE they install the felt or else you will be back in their shop about 6 months after you get the tints fixed because you will need to have them redone, again.
I agree, its only been 1 month and i can already see some lines.. they are hardly noticable but I know they are there, and they are eventaully just going to get worse....

I have it on mine too so they fixed it for free. I told them about this thread but not sure if they did anything that was suggested on this thread. But so far so good since April 3rd.

Correct, if you keep rolling the windows down they are going to look at lot worse.

It's in their best interest to fix your shit right since you have a lifetime warranty on the tints. So they either get it right or they will be re-tining your car for free every three months or so.

It doesn't matter what tint is used. It's going to scratch without the felt.... period.

Tell your tinter to install the 3 series kit from here... http://www.tintprotector.com/bmw/index.htm

Tell them NOT to cut your inner weather strip seal off. It will let wind noise and water into your door panel. Not good.

Did you get the Tint Protector kit? Put the kit on and then go get your windows re-tinted under warranty.

Yep the early production coupes had no felt....

chewie - It's CRAZY easy to pop open your door panel. You don't have to remove it. Just open it to gain access to the inside weather strip. Take less than 5 min per door.
