Any charge pipe that uses the factory c clip should theoretically never come off when installed correctly, I never had a problem personally on my ER CP. |

We're getting no love here on our end. Funny cause this is the first tuneable motor I've owned and don't have much besides stage 1 tune and k&n drop in. Magnaflow muffler's been busting my balls to get it aligned properly. So yea we new to start a revolution.

So I'm getting JB4 installed next Saturday, my car has only 15k miles but I don't have enough cash to get a CP for at least a month, does anyone know roughly how long a stock CP will last with normal/occasional spirited driving?
My car is also under warranty, so I was thinking if one broke maybe I could just remove the JB4 and get a new stock CP for free, but from what I've read it seems that if your CP blows you could end up stranded?

I made it home on limp mode. Changed my charge pipe next day. I had ordered it in anticipation of it breaking and never got around to installing

They didn't go with a stock type connection which uses the C clip. I personally like that type of connection much better than a silicone coupler.
On the other hand they will both perform the same function but going with a coupler style will save you a few bucks. |

Haven't installed an ETS CP, but the ER one clips right on using the stock clamp and feels real solid.
As someone who has had seals for hoses/pipes loosen, disconnect or warp during different load conditions of increased boost, I can tell you the ER has held up well. Put that on as a preventative measure and never looked back. |
