Mirrors move on their own

My side view mirrors randomly move on their own. Does anyone have an idea why?

There's a ghost in your car.

Maybe sometimes you hit the side mirror button by accident and don't pay attention?

Mine do that when I'm in the car wash and have the key in my pocket - perhaps something about the comfort access being close to - but not in - the car repeatedly. (the lights go on and off too)

When I leave the key in the car there's no issue.

It does it every day. I have to change them back to position at least twice a day. I programmed my seats and mirror position the same to each key. I don't accidentally hit the mirror buttons. I don't have the reverse switch activated where the mirror moves auto down when in reverse. I hate it. Is there a fuse going bad or a relay? Is this a warning of a future problem?

there was a recall for it, something about rusting parts inside.

Very common problem. I had the same issue, dealer fixed under warranty.

Motor inside the mirror needs to be replaced. Issues gone.

Damnit this recently started happening on my car, it's really annoying to have to reposition the mirrors every single time I get in the car. Hopefully I can still get it covered under warranty.

its been happening on my car since i bought the thing. The dealer has replaced the motors multiple times and they always fail within a year. Now they don't even want to touch it and my side mirror that has had the most issues won't even fold in anymore. It keeps getting stuck and makes a loud ass popping noise. I think its def a comfort access issue
