I finally did it! Changed the brake pads tonight, it's the same ones that Andrew recommended and it was quite easy. It took a total of about 1.5 hours, including washing the wheels from the inside. The first pad took me about 30 minutes, because I was taking it slow and the other about 10 minutes. I was surprised there was only one brake pad wear sensor on the front.

Thanks again Andrew!!!

Now that it's been a few months, any new comments?

Any regrets, or just more props?

I am probably going to swap out the pads on my 335. Another Pad to consider is the Hawk HPS. I have used them on two different cars now. They stop better than the OE pads and make less dust. Well worth the price of admission.

I concur. I've also used Axxis Metal Masters which are great...

I've been in contact with brakeworld and they have told me that the parts: D394 and D683 wont fit an '06 325i.

Has anyone here done the install on an '06 325i????? My car doesnt have sports package... but I dont think that makes a difference.

I got mine from buybrakes.com a few months back,

they were even on sale,

You want the same brakes for a E46 01-06 M3 WITHOUT competition package,
(even though the pads FOR competition package also fit) but the ones without are whats used in this thread, and the ones I bought for my E90,

i agree, as long as you treat your wheels regularly, the dust comes off in a heartbeat. It takes me less than one minute to clean each wheel because the dust just slides right off the surface. then another minute for tire shine.
