Thanks for that.

I have previous experience of the yellows having had a set on an E46 M3, again with Eibachs.

We dont seem to have the matched FSD/Eibach kit for sale here in the UK which kind of makes me think if I buy separately they wont be ideally matched.

Would love to try this package as an upgrade, would importing a kit from the US be totally out of the question ?

Thoughts on this ?

Regards

Yves

It's definitely not out of the question. We can get you a set no problem so let us know if you would like a quote.

That's not really true IMO...the FSD's are designed for the linear stock springs. They paired the Eibach Prokit with the FSD because it's the only aftermarket that can be used with the FSD. That's why I always wished the Prokit is linear, or a little stiffer at least, it's barely any stiffer than the stock springs.

Bingo! Gen_E92 said it perfectly.

YvesD -if you talk to Koni they'll let you know that FSD's are designed around the stock springs of you're vehicle.

Yeah, thats what I had understood from their site.

I want the drop more than anything as it looks like its on stilts at times but I know from previous experience that if I just do springs, shocks wont be far behind !

Personally I dont need better handling, just a better 'look'.

Possible ?

Does anyone know if the FSD dampers in the 2150 Kit (the KONI/Eibach Kit) are different than those found in the 2100 set? Why is the 335i not supported for the combined kit? Yet there is a note for the 2100 dampers that say only use with stock height springs...

because the springs in the "kit" are not for 335i, the FSD is the same though. which means for 335i you have to get the shocks and springs seperately.

Now I'm really confused !

Why is a kit being marketed for the 335i if the springs are not for that vehicle ?

I must have missed something somewhere ?

There's a little bit of a misconception here. Supposedly there were some kits that didn't come with springs for the 335 (e.g.330, 325, etc.). I'm not sure if that was true or where those kits came from but all the ones we carry here will come with 335 springs.
