New bike..now 335 is slow
I'm new to bike ownership as i bought a week old 2012 ninja 650 and have ridden it for 1.5 weeks straight to work, etc. Not even a fast bike to those who have been riding a while, but fast to me being a new rider. Anyway, just got in the 335 after being on this bike a while and it feels sooooo slow. I mean i know the bike IS faster, but man, i cant believe how slow it makes my car feel. Can you riders relate?

..just seems faster because you can see the asphalt zipping by under your feet But yes, riding a bike does seem faster than compared to traveling the same speed in a car.

I have 2 bikes, a Ducati and a Triumph and both are way faster than my 328, my wife has a 535 which is way faster than my 328i, your 335 will be way faster than both.
I've been riding for years so it doesn't really affect me now, I know what the car can do and drive accordingly and know when I'm on the bikes I can go like "sh*t off a shovel". "some people snort for it and some people jab a vein for it but all ya gotta do is ride" |

Lol a 650 isn't that fast of a bike to begin with. Wait til you upgrade to a 600cc 4 cylinder sportsbike. Or a 1000cc. Puts you in a whole different world.
But yeah. I know what you mean. BTW POST PIX OF THE NEW BIKE! Here's mine:

Welcome to the club. I have a built E30 that used to be my toy but then got the MV Agusta. Since then I think I have put 40 miles on the E30, I will probably sell it come spring. Cars are safer but nothing I can afford can come close to the thrill/terror this baby provides:
Edit: its also one of the reasons IDGAF about driving a wagon, shits useful as hell and any car BMW makes is pedestrian compared to that bitch. |

Any bike would be fast compared to a car. I remember my 1300R yes the Busa 140 seems like you are standing still on that thing. Just a powerful machine.
Dont let anyone dog a 600 either. The new 600's are every bit as fast as the older 1000's with a good rider. Keep the rubber side down and things are just fun. |

It doesn't get much sexier than an attractive lady on her own bike. Those new t-mobile commercials are basically clothed porn

Does she ever wish it had more power?? I was thinking of starting out on a CBR 600 and lowering it (since Im so short) .. On the GSXR my feet barely touch.. I usually have to lean the bike with one foot flat down and the other one still in the air because I cant straddle it comfortably. Its too high...Well unless I road in high heels but I dont feel like losing a toe lol

Made some friends in the MSF class and we went on a 6 hour trek last Friday. I almost ran out of gas not paying attention!

Another thing to do is check out some twins like the Ducs. Their mass is a little lower in the bike. 4 bangers wear their weight up high. Also they do make actual boots that have a wedge heel. My girlfriend has a pair with a low heel and she looked at a pair with a pretty substantial heel. They looked like dress boots but had an inner shell liner, very clandestine protection. |

Lowering it, however, will make a difference.
