Lid Back On.....In This Weather?

Well after much ‘umming and ahhing’ I had my twin stripes fitted yesterday. Didn’t have much to go off regards colour as I struggled to find any images of colours I wanted. I went for matt black with a pin stripe. The pin stripe colour was pulled from the ‘R’ decal.

Yes its very subtle and hopefully that’s what I have achieved. All comments welcome, personally I like it and am really happy with the finish. I also had the rear window tinted down too. Also having a brake up grade fitted tomorrow along with a stage 3 exhaust and some exige side scoops.

*edit* side stripes already gone

The roof, well I think it looks better and I'm not really a roof off driver (rather be hid away )

I will covert one of you one day

I like - really like the Elise and yours is looking good. I've had a itch for a Caterham for a long time but I'm starting to think an Elise or Exige might be easier to live with.

Looks great, the stripes suit the car and blend in well with the black alloys. I wouldn't want to race away from the lights against that!

Looks great. Only thing I'm not sure of is the stripe on the side as it creates too many different lines in that area with the curve of the wheel arch and the scoop. Still, it's hardly noticeable.

Love everything else about the car and agree that roofs are best. I've got a real soft spot for the Elise.

I'm with you on the side stripe, but when the exige scoops are fitted it should blend in better.

Definitely, having had a Westfield before my Elise.

Elise is an impractical car. Westfield is more like a practical motorbike!

Marcus, looks great, aside from the side stripes....even with the exige pods I'd lose those...

It sure puts a smile on your face unlike any other car I've owned.

It literally puts you in the driving seat, with no driver aids you very soon find your own limits! But it is a real blast

Haha, just saw your edit. A wise decision and the kind of thing you can't tell how it will look until it's done.

Looks mint and bet it sounds fantastic now. Love to be driving one of those this summer.

Tyres looking a bit neat at the back. Have you over inflated slightly too?

Looks spot on, as has been said the side stripe is a step too far but let's see when the scoops are added.

Sporty but tasteful.
