OK, but rear MV3 or not, any 8.5J ET37 wheel is the same as any other.
So in answer to your point about ET27 being max for 9.5J with 265 tyre.... pre LCI maybe, LCI definitely not.. |

Well guys, got my 4 x Bimmecc hubcentric 20mm spacers today from MAPS Ltd in Kent off EBay under the name cbeany.
Superb seller, 24hr delivery too and the spacers seem exceptionally well made and light too! Tomorrow I'm fitting them, can't wait to get them on and get some photos up of her  |

This seems like an interesting subtle mod. What are the benefits and detriments to this?
Did you lower the ride height at all? I'm driving an E93, 19's, M sport suspension, so I guess I got three reasons why 15mm spacers wont work out. |

Benefits - aesthetic only.
Detriment - theoretical possibility that widening the track could affect the handling of the car. Mine is now lowered too, no problems with the 15mm rear spacers.

Ok, no photos as yet as I'm on my iPhone but I fitted the 20mm spacers today all round and it looks awesome on the rear with no rubbing at all, it really fills the arches!
I will though be taking the spacers off the front in favour of some 12mm ones as they stick out too much now. They have only done 20 miles and will be up for grabs with unused long bolts to fit. If anyone wants them with a saving off the new price let me know. Photos to follow  |

Anyone running 20mm rear spacers on pre-LCI with 8j OEM wheels?
At the moment I have 16x7 ET34 wheels and I've measured a gap of ~10mm front ant ~30mm back. 20mm rear spacers would give me aprox identical gap front and back and with 17x8 ET34 styling 285 I would end up with no gap at all. Will this give me any problems with rubbing or is it just because 205/55 tyres are rounder and thus give me smaller gap than i.e. 205/45 would give?
