There is nothing wrong with bags, but one thing i have noticed with the guys that have bags. They seem to be obsessed that with bags the frame needs to be on the ground, when bags are empty. No need for that in my opinion.

One thing that i have always wondered is how the constant ride height changes affect the alignment?
The wheels are the same ones, but I have polished the lips and swapped to narrower tires. 205/40 and 225/40. Not settled on new wheels yet, but some kind of 3-piece wheel with big lips.

I guess "laying frame" is just fun because it is possible. Mine is a few cm above the ground when aired out. My goal is to get the lips and fender to be as close as possible when aired out. But I need smaller front tires to to that.

I don't think the alignment will be an issue. the stock suspension moves up and down all the time as well..

How much did it cost you all together if you don't mind me asking? Looks amazing, I'm starting to regret going with kw's instead of bags a little.

Some people dislike bags/dros as its the 'easy' way, part of its about scraping and dragging and breaking things. It's also because lately people have been stealing the show scene with a respray, retrim, air and wheels, none of it done themselves etc.

Car looks great though, surprised to hear its stiffer than the M Sport though? I've always heard air to be a good ride?

I think I am close to $5000 with shipping. But elevel is the most expensive and probably the best management-kit to this date. Sensors reading the height for high precision.

KW are great, but I wanted to do something different this time.

Yeah, I know. those are just temporary, but I'm not made of money.. Will buy some 3-piece wheels during winter.

yeah, that's true. Don't know why, because I love the ride.

Well, they have obviously not assembled a bag kit before. I do all the work myself (except paint jobs), so this is not something I have bought.

When the car is sitting low the ride is really stiff and you can feel every bump, but if I raise the car a few cm the ride gets softer and more comfy. So you can basically adjust it how you like it on the fly.

thanks! you can buy a lot of different tanks, so I dont think you should worry too much about space. Here is the build process of the trunk. The fabric in the trunk is originally grey, but I wrapped it with black fabric.

New brackets for mounting the tank:

Battery cover painted black:

Looks great! I think your current wheels are perfectly fit (FLUSH). I think poke looks tacky and young.

I'd love to see you lowered on your 225M's! (I have them too).

The rears are almost flush and the fronts are not flush. Front tires were way wider than expected so I had to add a little more camber. New wheels will be flush or maybe poke 5mm. I like poke, but not too much.

Just put the 225M's away so I don't think I will test fit them in the near future..

A few more shots. Guess some of you will hate the sticker, but I love it.

Yes it does, but i was thinking that it moves a lot more than normal suspension and when adjusting coilovers height, it always messes the alignment. Anyway it looks really good and major for doing it yourself. The black trunk liner looks good.

My car is just getting coilovers and new wheels installed at Monday/Tuesday.

Yes it does move a lot more, but the sensors should keep it on the level I adjust it to. So I hope it will be fine. Time will show.

Half the fun is doing it yourself!

Sweet, looking forward to it! I guess you will post it on e90post?
