sloppy suspension

Like after speed bumps or even taking corners off quick turns the cars very slow to react back it feels laggy and unresponsive. Even our camry seems to have a faster recovery when going over the speed bumps it feels soft but it tightens up quickly as my car it seems to bounce a bit and like the laggy bounce motion.

to help guide you, can you answer the following questions?

what suspension package did you order with your car?
how many miles?
what tires are you using?
Have you replaced anything in the suspension?

I have the sport suspension from factory. I am on 19 inch avant grade rims with hankook v12 tires, along with about 75,000 miles on the car. Nothing on the suspension has been raplaced

In my opinion, the Hankook V12 tires' soft sidewall makes it feel like there's a lot more body roll in turns. You can resolve this with a better suspension (coilovers or struts/springs), better tires (like the Michelin PSS, which has stiffer sidewalls), or with parts like the M3 front control arms (which have stiffer bushings).

I went with the M3 front control arms. And will be getting new tires within about 6 months or so.

Also the extra weight of 19" wheels isn't helping, but mostly it just might be tired dampers. Try a set of Bilsteins or Konis.

First check inflation pressure. With the cold, tires tend to loose several psi, and that can feel really odd. But yeah, at 75k miles the suspension start to get tired.

What are some good dampers if I have to buy some, and are controls arms possible to do at home? Am assuming a alignment is needed for all this after? Any bushings I should look into replacing?

See my garage for everything I replaced when my stock shocks started to crap out. Trying to DIY everything would take some time.

Are you happy with the upgrade? I would like to change out my suspension too to something that closely resembles the feel that my E92 M3 without breaking the bank.

When driving in a stright line and hitting a bump the car will sort jump sideways. The rebound also sucks.

Just looking for solutions.

Am having the rebound jump to the side problem as well, did you find out the cause of it?
