WTF man I thought this was just a rumour. I think it does have sharp lines and doesnt look as bad as it could have turned out, but I hate seeing all these pointless models. I know it can be argued that they arent pointless and there are markets for them but it's annoying that Maserati are spending time developing this when they could be producing something else. Same with X1, X3, X4, X6 etc. X5 is the only one I really like.

I'm apathetic to the back, but that front is breath-taking. Grille and lights are made of win.

The rear has an Audi-feel to it.

The overall shape is Porsche Cayenne.

The front is amazing! This thing will rock your socks when it pulls up next to you.

People will be singing a different tune very soon. Similar to all the backlash Porsche received when they first debuted the Cayenne and Panamera.

Now, they're some of the most beloved models within the brand by consumers.

It's the 'purists' that always have a problem with 'evolution'.

Looks Japanese(busy and unrestrained styling), which would be good if the car was Japanese (hate the idea of euro styled Japanese cars) but its Italian, what a shame.

The Cygnet is actually based on the Toyota iQ, not the Fiat 500, assuming that's the car you're referring to.

That's even worse then. $45+k for a micro toyota with nice upholstery.

Anyway, back on topic...

so disappointing. Maserati could have done something great. They went the lazy way and used the Grand Cherokee underpinnings. Hate that about the new Mercedes ML too. You can just tell what they both originally were.

They did but personally I don't care. The Touareg,Q7, Cayenne share the same platform theyre totally different animals.Same goes for a lot of cars.

If it sounds like their GT then I'll buy one, especially if it's priced around the Cayenne. A major drawback for me would be going to the dealership and saying "Ku-bang." lol:
