A 335d won't get near 320d mpgs. Friction and weight will not allow that to happen! Don't be fooled by what people say. It's easy to get 55mpg out of the 320d on the motorway. You might get that out of the 335d if you sit at 55mph everywhere.
If you want more fun though buy the bigger engine and stick aside an extra £500 per 10,000 miles for fuel, tax and servicing. The 320d is no slouch and there is a good reason there is so many of them on the road. |

I've always wanted a black car too. So my favourites are Le Mans Blue or the Black. Seen a phantom black one for sale. That looks great. Tempted by that. LCI LMB's see, rare for under 12k

I've had a lot of correspondence off them. Seem ok. It makes me think something is dodgy. As an 07 330D is 12k. But this 58 is 11k and its LCI? |

Golden rule of car buying.
If it seems to good to be true it probable is. If in doubt walk away. Cars that seem cheap are often cat c or cat d cars and thus are worthless..

I get at best 42mpg on the motorway over a long trip. Sometimes it is 37mpg on the motorway. It is possible to get 55mpg, but you won't be going much over 50mph. Car has done about 47,000 miles from new in a bit under 3 years.
If you want effortless power and be able to accelerate uphill at 100mph in 6th gear, then get a 330d. If you want economy, get a 320d. If you really want a lot of power all over the rev range, get a 335d |

I don't really look at the MPG to be honest - went up slightly after getting remapped though.

I'll check it when I go out in it next probably does 50ish on the motorway when driving it steady and early 40's round town but that's at a guess.

I'd go for 330d in any form.
320d if you do 25,000 miles or more, a year. 325d seems a bit pointless. Slightly cheaper, not as fast as a 330d, with almost identical consumption. |
