DPE's Mounted but w/Rubbing! Why?

I just finished mounting my wheels right now, took it for a spin and found out I rub with this setup. Wheels are DPE S10 19x8.5 19x10 wrapped in Kumho Ecsta SPT 245/35/19 and 275/30/19. Im dropped on KW V2's with bout a fingers space up front and a finger and a half in the back

When Ryan dropped off the wheels to me he said I can go with 245 by 285's but to go with 275's to be safe. Other members like cantc0pe are running the same setup with no rubbing at all.

I rubbed right when I got out of my driveway so I was careful from there on. Going slow at an angle on regular dips and driveways I will rub in the front or back and sometimes both. Small speedbumps going straight are fine but will rub at corners with moderate speed.

Will rolling the fenders correct this? I still havent got an alignment yet but I dont want to run negative cambers. I will post some pics.

Offset seems a bit aggressive for the car. You can try to roll the fenders and if needed, get skinnier tires to see if that helps.

These look like M3 offsets..and are a tad too aggressive for your car..

Here are your options...get 265 tires, they'll fit fine over 10" wheel...get negative camber in the rear, roll your fenders....have a machine shop shave 5mm off your wheel hub...

get new rims with correct offset

I called DPE and they verified that the wheels are spec'd for the e92. I was told Kumho SPT tires run wider than others and if I'd went with Toyo T1R's they be perfect.

Im on a budget and not to mention what the shop is going to charge me to dismount and remount/balance the new tires so I have to stick with either General Exclaim UHP or Kumho Ecsta SPT.

If T1R's 245 275 specs are perfect than I would probably have to go with 235 by 265. However I think General's are on back order so you think Kumho's would work? Here are the specs for each tire (last number is width), I will try and get more pics later.

Toyo Proxes T1R
235/35ZR19 91Y 9.5
245/35ZR19 93Y 9.6

265/30ZR19 93Y 10.5
275/30ZR19 96Y 10.6

Kumho Ecsta SPT
235/35R19* 91Y 9.5
245/35R19* 93Y 9.8

265/30R19* 93Y 10.7
275/30R19* 97Y 10.9

General Exclaim UHP
235/35ZR19 91W 9.5
245/35ZR19 93W 9.8

265/30ZR19 93W 10.4
275/30ZR19 96W 10.9

Pffftt...did they tell you what off set the wheels are? look at ur rim, you should see a little number on it...

i know a few people who have DPE's that they claim are "92" offset, and then they rub...

DPE doesn't disclose the true offset number of their wheels.

In your pics the lip of wheel comes out past the fender. This means that these wheels are not E92 fitment. If a wheel company will not disclose the offset to a customer that has purchased a set then they themsleves do not know or they are not the right offset and they dont want to tell you so they can sell the wheels. Why wouldnt they disclose? Is it some big secret? A 19x10 with a 30-35 offset would be perfect for an E92, anything less would be too aggressive and rub.

I remember a wise man name long telling me this a couple of months ago. I know if I want to know about wheel/tire fitment, I'd ask you, since you've tried so many different combos.

The lip of the rear does not come out past the fender but Im not so sure about the front. Its really close and hard to tell. Should I go 225 up front and 265 rear?

I think its the flash that makes em look purple but they sure as hell arn't Black Sapphire. I think 265's should fix the rear but its the front Im worried about. What size you think will work for the front and can you roll the front fenders considering they arn't metal? I believe I remember you saying you had a fender rollder, still got that?

If you're on KW's why not just raise the car a bit? I'm on DPE S-20's with 275 rears and 245 fronts, T1-R's and it's tight, but no rubbing. I am not sure I buy the whole "some tires are wider than others" thing, but given than we're both on KW's, both on DPE's, with the same size tires and I don't rub, maybe that's it.
