BMW wanted the extra space in the trunk. They didn't include a spare, that means they had to put RFT on the car. Buy some "aerosol slime" in a can. That will fix small punctures. If it's a catastrophic blowout, a RFT won't matter.
With a 30-40 series tire, if you drive slow and don't try to corner, it won't typical roll off the bead in a mile or two anyway. Save the cash you would pay for RFT and buy two sets of regular tires with road hazard. Call BMW Roadside or AAA when you get a flat for a tow. |
