where to buy H&R race springs 50490-88
Like the title suggests, can these be bought anywhere in the uk, i have tried ringing and emailing h&r in Scotland but can not get a reply. I have spoke to a few other people but don't seem to be able to get these springs.
Is there a euro race version or another part no? Help me out guys, the search is giving me no answers to. Might just go for a coilover kit, if i can not buy these. They are supposed to drop 2" and 1.5" phil |

You will only get the Sport springs in the UK. Call Teddy on 07920 575052 and tell him what car you have and he'll sort them out for you What car have you got, it say's 320 in your Avatar? |

Phil,
I've just had some fitted to my E90, not sure if yours is an E90/1/2/3. The drop is a pretty decent one and I will check later if I have the sport or race springs fitted. I was going to wait until the car was clean before taking pics, but if the rains stops later then I might take one to show you how much of a drop you can expect. Jules. |

Unless you want your wheels right inside the arches then the normal H&R's will be fine. The drop is significant and it drops the front about twice as much as the back, which is exactly what it needs to even the car up.

Phil,
Part number 29187-1 gives you a drop of 35mm Front and 20mm Rear. Spring markings: Front- VA 29187 Rear- HA 29187 Part number 29183-1 gives a drop of 45mm Front and 35mm Rear. Spring markings: Front- VA 29183 Rear- HA 29183 but as the Si already has the lowered suspension, it won't be as much as the above measurements, as you already know. |

Carlos,
I am really not sure how much the drop is. After having the springs fitted I thought it had dropped too much and suspected that I had the H&R race and not sport springs fitted, but after checking the paperwork mine are sport springs, so the actual drop is 35mm front and 20mm rear. I would say that these figures are about right but it has ben mentioned that as the car already had M-Sport suspension then the car was already lower than standard, so the drop may only be 20mm front and 10mm rear , it does look more than that to me though. The car definitely sits much better now. Jules. |

Jules, your car looks awesome with the drop. Makes the stance of the E90 so much better.
I think your latter point is correct. Visually even only 10mm makes a BIG difference |
