Static am radio

Hi guys

Where is the antenna for the radio? Some of the am stations I listen too are staticy and one station I can barely get

Hey brother- 1010 wins is one of my go to stations for news weather and traffic
But sadly I think our antenna is in that shark fin- do you have one?

*EDIT- ctuna got it- I think it's in the rear window- Sharkey's for satellite only

I have a convertible is the antenna still in that glass? Any tips on how I can get better reception? Cuz it sounds nasty

So sounds like I would have to remove the bumper to try to see if this is caused by a lose wire?

Nope. I believe am is in the sides. Only fm is in the bumper...

If you drive near lots of above ground power lines, you'll get staticy AM. My commute has some spots where I get nothing but white noise on the AM station I listen to on my drive home.

So super hard to get access too?

One station all the other cars get fine isn't even getting picked up

Bad on the freeways too but I do. Price if I pass a big metal object it gets worse
