MF towels without little white tag

While removing some polish from my car this weekend I was using a high quality micro fiber towel. To my horror I watched a hairline scratch appear as I was wiping down the hood -- all caused by that little *&#$ing white tag on the corner of the towel. I have MF towels from several sources - Griots, & DetailedImage to name a few, and they all have that little white tag. Cutting it off won't do anything because there would still be the "rough" area on the towel.

Griots takes the care to use thread on the edges of the MF towel to not scratch the paint, and then throws the tag on there.

Anybody know where to get MF towels without the tag?

Premium Auto Care has these new hi-quality towels that Autogeek also sells. Really high quality with silk edging and no tags.

edit:

Griots prices are not worth their quality...

Those mf's from advance are good but the corner adgeing kills them. when you get a chance try to feel how hard they are. unless you plan on having all the corners folded in, i'd demote them to wheel use.

lol - If I pulled the tags off of the towels I had the entire corner would fray. If I cut them then I'd still have the "tag remnants".

smart a$$

what JOYRIIDE1113 and gdnyc said. However i find Pakshaks to be better quality for the long term. Already have some quality issues with my cobra deluxes not one with any of my pakshak.

PS i have dozens of each ------ Pakshak rules!!!!!
