VMR-710 Custom Gunmetal on LCI 335i M-sport Black Sapphire - Pics
Well the rears dont fit... ET33 19x9.5 from my 2006. Only had them about 90 days on the 2006, traded the 06 in on an LCI Found out the hard way that ET33 offset is not going to fit with 275's on an LCI.
Iv'e Pm'd VMR wheels about an ET45 wheel fitment on the back. Heres to hoping they can help me out a little bit on a pair of unifinished ET45's so I can have them paint matched, without losing my ass. Its an expensive lesson in LCI fitment that I dont wish on anyone else. It wouldnt be so bad if the tires werent brand new or I hadnt just paid to have the wheels custom painted from the original silver to gunmetal. Pics are from my iphone, at a show today, so they arent the best. But its a start. |

Msport...
The car looks great! Have you had trouble with the rear tint? Looks really dark! BTW, sent you a PM Back. -Charles@VMRWheels

This is a car that puts down over 375HP on an average day with the mods it has. It does NOT have LSD. Thinner rubber is not the answer - maintaining contact patch IS. These tires are still brand new. And I'd love for someone to find me an all season tire in 265/30/19. Good luck with that... |

As for the tint, its 20% all the way around. NC law is I think 32 or 35. Im not sure. Ive never been hassled for tint in NC in 12 years of running the exact same stuff (Johnson Film 20%) on 5 different cars.
I did however get hasseld for my tint in VA. Even though my car is registered and I live in NC. All hail the great communistwealth police state of Virginia.....People wonder why I left that hole.... The tail lights ARE tinted yes. The same guy that painted my wheels did them. Its a mix of clear and black. The red stood out WAY too much for my taste and the blacklines from my 2006 ovbiously wouldnt fit. He also did the same job on the side markers. I didnt like the entire blacked out solid paint look there, like most do.. I think the tinted refelectors look much better. |

Mark: Everything turned out really nice.
Hopefully you will find a solution for the wheels/tires.

Just curious, do you know if you were rubbing the actual fenders, or the carpet/lining inside the fender? From the way your rears looks it's probably the fenders but I want to see if u checked to be sure. I ran 10mm spacers on mine with OE sport wheels, and I'm already rubbing the fender lining. Guess BMW wasnt kidding when it advertises that the LCI rear tracks were widened; i'm guesing it's somewhere between 3 to 5 mm....

http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=286489 I have read that your Michelin PS2s are wider in the same size than just about any other tires. It is not unheard of for people to have rubbing issues when changing to PS2 from other brands. |

I am rubbing the actual steel. And JZ sorry, man... but theres NO way you are running ET22 wheels and a 265 tire on an LCI without rubbing |

Looks Great Borsig - looks like the proper LCI fitment is the ET38-45 range. Congrats. |

Yeah I might take some better pics before I have to take them off...
Im waiting to hear back from Charles @ VMR so I can plan my next move with this. The color is a GM color I think... I will have to ask my paint guy. They were orginally silver. |
