I remember when Porsche introduced that beast and when Nick Faldo's ex trashed his! wikipedia has a nice history of the car. Shiv, that m'f'er is worth btw. $700,000-$1,000,000.

There is a company that modifies the 959 to make it emission compliant and legal in the U.S.

WOW... that is rare sight right there. I think most of the ones made were silver, so that is probably the first picture I have seen of one in red. The only other car that could compete against it at the time was the Ferrari F40 which even by todays standards is considered one of the best cars ever made. It took 20 years for the 911 Turbo to match the performance of that car right there... if it weren't for safety and emission regulations... I can't even imagine what they would come up with. That in my opinion was one of last great super cars.... very ahead of its time.
