Getting Tints this weekend... 35% or 40%

So im undecided on what % tint to get, 35% or 40%.
I have an AW with Black int. So i know any tint% will "seem" darker than it is.

My main concern is getting hassled by the police.
Anyone here with 35% tint having trouble with getting repeatedly ticketed for tints?

On monday I'm either going 15% or 5%... I've had 15% on all of my other cars and have never been pulled over before... you have to be smart... if you see a cop sitting somewhere... or driving towards you... roll the window down... Pretty simple lol... But Im pretty sure Im going 5% on this car.

I went with 35%.

I've had it on for about 2 months now. So far, no problems. (knock on wood)

i always wonder how people see at night with 5% tints lol my friend says its a bitch so I'll just take his word since hes always pissed off after a drive in night haha

I would stay with 35% because I have the ZPP with the auto dimming mirrors and at night, when I try to parallel park, it's hard to see the passenger side mirror with the windows up. So, if I were to go any darker, that would make it close to impossible to see that mirror. I mean, driving is perfect. I can see clearly at night, it's just when I try to use the passenger mirror to see how close to the curb I am.

In my opinion 35% is perfect for me. Not too dark in the daytime, but noticeable and looks nice at night.

I agree with Scott. I have 35% for about a year already. Nothing so far...The police in NY are cracking down it real hard. Luckily, i only drive it on the weekends..

I think I'm gonna end up getting 35% when I go get mine tinted.. It should look ok with my black interior

haha I have 35%, and I've been pulled over in NYC. I got a $60 ticket.

i say go with 20% its not that dark but its decent...personaly im a limo tint person lol...5% yea in dark places i cant see shit at night but its all good lol...i like my privecy
