New to the forums with a new car!
Hi guys,
My name is Dan. I'm from Sydney Australia and I have just purchased an e92 335i. It's a 2008 M Sports. So far I've put wheels on it. They are 20's, not my first choice, I actually had them because I was about to put them on my old car, but it was stolen before the wheels were fitted! So this is the new car and the wheels just fit! They are Breyton GTS matte black 20"x8.5 front, 20"x10 rear. The fronts fit ok, could probably do with a lower profile tyre. The back left fits good, however the back right is super tight due to the e92 suspension setup being lower on that side... which makes no sense to me in an RHD, unlike driver offset in an LHD. To fit the wheels in the back, the guards were rolled and the camber adjusted 0.5 degree as well. The back right still scrubs on bumps. Windows have been tinted down to 15%. I intend to mod this car up a fair bit, so probably first up will be coilovers so I can perfect the wheel fitment, and I'm not a fan of the M Sports suspension anyway. Hope you guys like the ride and I'm looking forward to being active in this forum community. Thanks Dan |

congrats dude. I have space grey too. Chop of those ugly tips and get a pair of 3.5" powder coated black Dimisa tips. I will post a pic after I get new wheels. Do a very light tint of the tail lites. I got the kidney grill rings wrapped in matte black like the IS. (leave slats as is). I like gunmetal/machine faced on my space grey and plan to buy these 18" wheels. There is no end to how much you can mod this car. Sometimes I wonder where to draw the line. Look at this sample.

Thanks for the comments guys, yes the wheel is on the wrong side! hahah
And yes we get smashed with the mark up here, for example this is a 2008 and the going price is AU$50-60k which at the moment is probably like US$49500-59500, which I'm pretty sure you guys can get them new for that? It sucks a big one, but unfortunately that's the way it is.. |

Don't usually like coupes at all but this is pretty good looking! Looks like there is some type of aftermarket exhaust too, do you know what it is? Enjoy it! |
