Got my car dynoed running Procede!! Thoughts?
So as you can see, I had my car dynoed on a DynoDynamics, which from what I've heard is very conservative at our dealership. And Sorry guys, no baseline!
I'm running the Procede Autotuning map 1 with a muffler delete and that's it. At 273hp I am a little disappointed, but I never bought this car with power at the top of my list. I do realize that these dynos are conservative, but I was hoping to at least have broken the 300 mark with the tune. The numbers I got resemble that of a stock car don't they? Let's say we did get a baseline. I was told a stock 335i on this particular dyno will run 240hp, and if this were the case, I only got a 30hp jump? That just doesn't sound right. Still, it was fun either way Any input welcome

Did you run in Map 1 or 0? A baseline is easy, run it last on Map 0. The DD is one of the lowest reading dynos. Was it in shootout mode?
At least run the 111 firmware and 4-23 aggressive maps. I'm on 5-23 aggressive beta maps, much better than the 7-29 autotuning. And log next time to see boost and other important diagnostic data.

Don't worry OP, it's fun to see everyone on this forum disappointed by dynos (look at the other recent threads). This is because the tuners use high-reading dynos in order to lure customers. And some customers happen to use the same local dynos as the tuners, and spread the information on the forums.
My car dynoes 360whp on a Mustang (up from 250whp stock) but traps 118mph at the track, more than most of the 400+whp cars here.

I see you are in dallas so I'm guessing it was hot and humid. Try again when its 40-50 degrees out. Make sure plugs and coils are in working order as well.

On that very Dyno, or a dynodynamics dyno? I'd imagine how it's calibrated also plays a role in the reading, unless they've found a way to ensure all DD dynos have a standard calibration.

It's pretty tough to compare how much power you've picked up without an actual baseline due to how many different factors there are when dynoing. Certain dynos read differently, even if they're the same brand/model.
