2010 335i M Sport - 70k miles!
So I'm looking at a 2010 335i M Sport coupe, fully loaded, as in every possible option, but with 70k miles and a previous accident. According to Carfax, the car, which is from a corporate fleet, had the accident at 20k miles, and from that mileage, it had 3 alignments at 32k, 42k, and 47k. I'm thinking there was some sort of frame damage though the dealer denies this.
What would be a fair price? Dealer wants $28k (also, car was sold to them at an auction). The rest of the car looks good for 70k miles, the rock chips on the front are evident as are all the exterior blemishes you'd expect at that mileage. What do you guys think? |

I would stay away from that one. High mileage 335i with no warranty and been in accident at not even a great price. Are there options in it that you think are special? Fully loaded isn't too difficult to find its usually more difficult to find rare color combos or manuals (at least from my searching last year that was the case). I think you can do better

I was going to ask $24-25k max. It's black on black, literally every option except heated steering wheel. It even has the black wood interior and hifi sound system. M sports have been pretty rare in the northeast. I've been looking for the last 5 months and this is the only one I've found that has every feature/color I want in my price range (most have been in the $32-$35k range), which is the only reason I'm actually considering it.

Nope
I would not touch it. You can get an 11 with everything on it that has only 11k miles for $38,000.

Before I purchased a 328xi, I was looking at a white 335 coupe, xi, M-Sport, Nav, 23k miles at driveanything.com. The previous owner lived in westchester (better roads). It had a clean carfax.
The internet price was 36k but the dealer was willing to let it go for 34.5k. It is still listed if you are interested. They are located in PA. The only thing was no CPO since it's not a BMW dealer. |
